Tord began his career by founding the largest UK freeskiing website,, whilst finishing his Masters degree in Branding at Brunel University. He then started a career with Amer Sports, which is where he finished up after 5 years as Sports Marketing Manager for all the Amer Sports’ brands including Salomon, Suunto, Atomic, Wilson and Bonfire Snowboards. Tord utilises his branding experience to ensure relevant and long-lasting partnerships are created whilst always seeing interesting and dynamic opportunities in all situations and across a whole range of sports.

I have had the pleasure of working with Tord Nilson on a handful of different projects over the past few years and each and every time I have watched him go above and beyond his call of duty to make sure that the job at hand is done properly. Having now moved on to form his own sports marketing agency I am sure that he will transfer these skills successfully to this new venture.

Sports Marketing Director

Richard grew up playing professional cricket and when injury forced him to stop, he studied to a degree in Sports Management at Loughborough University. Upon leaving, he joined Red Bull and spent 8 years working in the Sports Marketing team. Richard worked across a wide range of world renowned sporting projects, such as Danny MacAskill’s ‘Imaginate‘ and ‘Epecuen‘, as well as developing a range of creative event ideas. He spent the last 2 years as Head of Athlete Marketing, developing relationships across a huge range of sports, both in action sports, and wider mainstream sports. A creative project manager with close relationships across all levels of sport, Richard brings a wealth of experience to Iconic.
